This film uses the Cambridge area of the United Kingdom to discuss the applicability of Christaller’s central place theory in a modern context. Explains the forces that have given growth to the city of Cambridge and the functions of centres at different levels of the settlement hierarchy in Canmbridge. Suitable for Upper-Secondary students.
