Episode of Series “The American Short Story”.
Based on a short story by Ernest Gaines. Deals with a young black farmboy’s visit to the dentist in a small Louisiana town in the 1940’s. The visit marks the dawning of his social and self-awareness. Commentary by Henry Fonda. Cast: Olivia Cole, James Bond III.
