Documentary which looks at the controversy over the proposed damming of the Franklin and Gordon Rivers in South West Tasmania and argues for the conservation of this wilderness area. Provides a brief history of the region and follows a three week journey down the Franklin River with Dr. Bob Brown, a conservationist who has intimate knowledge of the river.
