No title or credits available. An overview of the history of Churchill Island which was purchased by the Victoria Conservation Trust in January 1976 to be kept for the people of Victoria. It is a small island in size, yet large in both historical and conservation significance. Situated in Westernport Bay near Phillip Island, Churchill Island was first discovered on 5th January, 1798 by George Bass. A detailed booklet accompanies this film.
