The story of a family who go to live in Coober Pedy, South Australia. Shows the ways in which the family live in, and adapt to, their new environment, initially living in a caravan while their underground home is completed. The excavation and creation of this house, ideally suited to the climate, is shown. Suitable for upper primary and secondary levels.
