A look at the Victorian Department of Education’s work in importing 100 pressed aluminium building from Bristol, England. These buildings can be erected in 2 days and will provide accommodation of 8,000 students in an attempt to overcome overcrowding within Victorian schools.
The construction process is shown with one being assembled in the Melbourne University grounds near the Melbourne Teacher’s College.
The film print from which the digital copy was made was badly damaged and the digital version shows evidence of that.
