A musical interpretation of George Seurat’s painting “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte” based loosely on Seurat’s life and book by James Lapine. Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, musical director and conductor, Paul Gemignani - originally directed for the Broadway stage by James Lapine. Cast also includes Charles Kimbrough, Barbara Bryne, Dana Ivey, Mary D’arcy.
