Adapted from a story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and featuring the inimitable Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) and his sidekick, Dr Watson (Nigel Bruce). In this tale of mystery and suspense, Holmes has to find the whereabouts of three wooden music boxes containing Bank of England engraving plates in order to prevent certain crims out there from basically obtaining a licence to print money. Cast includes Patricia Morison, Edmond Breon, Frederick Worlock, Carl Harbord, Patricia Cameron.
