Based on an operetta by Austrian composer Franz Lehar with lyrics by A.M. Willner and H. Reichert, “Frasquita” tells the romantic tale of a love triangle between Harald, a wealthy young Parisian (Hans Heinz Bollmann), his fiancee Dolly (Charlott Daudert) and Frasquita (Jarmila Novotna) a young gyspy girl who takes Harald’s fancy after a chance meeting. Music conducted by Franz Lehar. Cast also includes Heinz Ruhmann, Max Gulstorff, Hans Moser, Rudolf Carl, Franz Schafheitlin. Dialogue, lyrics and credits in German. No English subtitles.
