Playing with fire (wri. Ann McManus, dir. Jim O’Hanlon): Zandra’s under pressure from Shell to find her stash of smuggled drugs and is quick to drop in Warden Rose. Nikki moves in next door to Shell and Lorna’s career is in jeopardy. Shell has her privileges stripped. “Falling apart” (wri. Sally Wainwright, dir. Mike Adams): Shell uses her powers of sexual persuasion to get back into the threes. The Louises get into wine making and Monica receives devastating news. “Pay back time” (wri. Martin Allen, dir. Mike Adams): Lorna returns from holidays, Monica’s still not speaking and Shell claims she’s come off drugs and found religion. She also vows to settle a score with Lorna. Helen struggles to resist Nikki’s charms. “Love hurts” (wri. Maureen Chadwick, dir. Mike Adams): Monica’s appeal nears. New prisoner Yvonne Atkins (Linda Henry) is making a good impression on the women and is full of lots of inventive ideas for improvement. There’s tension between Helen and Nikki and Helen’s having second thoughts about her impending marriage.
