Set in Beijing in the early thirties, “Li Hun” recounts the cultural conficts faced by a well-natured match-maker caught between Chinese tradition and the Western ideas of marriage and family that are beginning to take hold amongst his friends. Adapted from the original work by the famous drama writer Lao She. In Mandarin with English subtitles.
