An award-winning episode of the ‘World in Action’ series observing the mass protest at the U.S. embassy in London against the bombing of North Vietnam. Interviews students travelling to the rally, police preparing for the confrontation and members of the public expressing their support or opposition to the event. Captures the violent clashes between police and the crowd and records the media coverage that was transmitted by American reporters.
