In this contemporary thriller, Clint Eastwood plays the popular California disc jockey, Dave Garland. On his radio show he repeatedly receives a phone request for “Play Misty for Me”, from a feminine voice. Garland meets the owner of the mysterious voice, Evelyn Draper, at a night spot he frequents. Unsuspecting, he takes her home with him and there the terror begins. Stars Jessica Walter, Donna Mills and John Larch. Photographed by Bruce Surtees.
