Addio tradizione

Australia, 1994

Film

Childhood memories are recalled whilst Sylvanna (Marcella Russo), a housewife, ponders her adolescent years with migrant Italian parents in Australia. A series of moving images show the Italian customs experienced throughout her childhood and the growing tensions and difficulties in the family as she reaches puberty and the two cultures of differing family values clash.
