Silent film documenting the case history of Della Derlein by Herbert Schoening MD. Della contracted meningitis resulting in deafness and paralysis and was admitted to the Kenny Institute. This film documents her rehabilitation showing the many disciplines involved and illustrates the successful outcome of the conservative steps, keeping the focus on the whole patient rather than on isolated parts of her body.
