For decades archives have worked behind the scenes to save America’s film heritage. Now for the first time, eighteen of the nation’s premier archives join forces to showcase the range of films that survive today thanks to their efforts. Essays about the archives narrated by Laurence Fishburne. Newly recorded musical scores by Martin Marks.
