A detailed examination of isolated movements in water polo, including lifting, catching, and returning the ball, leg action during a throw, and various forms of tackle. The distribution of players in the pool, and various methods of positioning and attacking and defending are shown both by direct photography and the use of animation. Players include Dr Sutton, the English captain, Martin, North, and Pascoe, international players, and members of the Plaistow and Oxford and Cambridge Universities Water Polo teams.
