Scenes from Mr Harold MacMillan’s tour of Africa in the spring of 1960. Accompanied by Lady Dorothy MacMillan, the Prime Minister visits Ghana, Nigeria and the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland, witnessing both the spectacular material progress in these quickly developing territories and the friendliness and goodwill which have not been affected by the achievement of the prospect of independence.
