Campaign film for ALP Member for Bendigo, David Kennedy. Features footage of Kennedy campaigning in the streets of Bendigo with Gough Whitlam and being interviewed about his views on Bendigo and his family. Issues of concern to the community are raised such as postal services, state of the education system, and loss of youth to the bigger cities. Also desire for a National Health Scheme and concern for wheat farmers. Features good shots of historical interest of Bendigo in the early 1970s. Script by Bill Hartley.
