The new conception of rehabilitation is shown through the study of the methods (circa 1945) used in treating and caring for injured miners at a well-known hospital and rehabilitation centre in the English Midlands. All stages of treatment are presented. Interesting from a historical viewpoint. NB: Contains some graphic images.
