Excerpt from British film “The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner” in which six young men are incarcerated in a correctional institution for male offenders called Ruxton Towers. The prisoners are encouraged to conform, with emphasis placed on discipline and team work through sports. One lad who is groomed by the Governor for possible olympic stardom ends up showing his contempt for authority by sabotaguing Ruxton Towers chance at victory in an inter-prison cross country competition.
