An account of the work being done by the Commonwealth Plant Quarantine officers to prevent the introduction of dangerous insect pests and plant diseases into this country from overseas. In addition to checking cargoes on arrival at Australian ports, quarantine officers extend their vigilance to overseas loading points in their efforts to keep Australia free of diseases prevalent in other countries.
