A view of the troubled island of Cyprus from the point of view of Canadian soldiers of the United Nations peace force who were called upon to help keep the peace until agreement could be reached between the Greek and Turkish factions. General Thimayya of India, commander of the UN troops, explains his responsibility. Among the Cypriots who appear in this film are Archbishop Makarios and Dr Kutchuk, the Turkish vice-president.
