A survey of the role of highways in America’s system of transportation and the major processes of roadbuilding including: first surveying, cutting, scraping and levelling of the roadbed; assembling materials; mixing and dumping concrete; smoothing and finishing surface; necessary skills involved to ensure safe, well-built highways.
