At Narrabri in New South Wales, CSIRO scientists are collaborating with the State Department of Agriculture and cotton farmers in the cause of more efficient production of cotton. A computer based management system is helping them find the best ways of managing the cotton crop, to use fewer pesticides and to increase the harvest.
