A Fox-Movietone newsreel (vol. 3, ep. 19) from 1932 documenting the arrival of Charles Scott, the first person to fly from England to Australia in under nine days - as the title suggests. He lands in Sydney and is greeted by Sir Charles Kingsford Smith and welcoming crowd. Similar events in Brisbane are also shown.
