The CD ROM covers all details in the organisation of a musical performance, including budgeting, choosing the right venue, promotion and fundraising. The CD is based on a module ‘How to Organise Your Own Music Event’, which is part of AUSMUSIC’s Certificate 2 in Music Industry Skills. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Multimedia PC with 486 DX2/66 or higher, 640x480 display with 256 colors, 8 MB RAM, 16MB of free hard drive space, 4 speed CD ROM drive, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or a later version, and Video For Windows. A 140 page student workbook plus teacher notes accompanies the CD ROM and provides an overview to the piece as well as a glossary of terms, references and useful contacts.
