This is the video recording of Lord Puttnam’s lecture on “Screen literacy and cultural morality in the digital era”. The lecture was held at the Village City Centre, Melbourne, Tuesday 23 November 1999 at 7:00pm, and is part of Cinemedia’s Grierson Lectures. Cinemedia is an Australian cultural organisation which encourages and assists the development, production, exhibition and knowledge of film, television and new media. As part of its mission to promote discussion about screen culture, Cinemedia runs the annual Grierson Lecture. A transcript of the lecture is available as a separate loan item.
