This CD-rom presents an overview of the Iranian cinema output from the silent era onwards through video clips, soundtracks, artist biographies and posters. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Multimedia PC or compatible with 486 or higher processor, CD-Rom drive, audio board, speakers and SVGA resolution monitor with 256 colors or higher, 8 MB of RAM, at least 10 Mb hard drive space, Windows 95 or later. In Farsi.

Our collection comprises over 40,000 moving image works, acquired and catalogued between the 1940s and early 2000s. As a result, some items may reflect outdated, offensive and possibly harmful views and opinions. ACMI is working to identify and redress such usages.
