This superb collection of stunning pas de deux, from many of the best loved classical ballets, features some of the most celebrated partnerships of recent times from companies such as The Royal Ballet, The Kirov Ballet, The Bolshoi Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and Adventures in Motion Pictures. Individual pieces and their performers include: Maria Bylova and Leonid Nikonov in ‘Spring Waters’, Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev in ‘Le Corsaire’, Darcey Bussell and Jonathan Cope in ‘The Prince of the pagodas’, Adam Cooper and Scott Ambler in ‘Swan Lake’, Alessandra Ferri and Wayne Eagling in ‘Romeo and Juliet’, Lesley Collier and Anthony Dowell in ‘The Nutcracker’, ‘Jennifer Penney and Anthony Dowell in ‘Manon’, Yulia Makhalina and Igor Zelensky in ‘Swan Lake’, Natalia Makarova and Anthony Dowell in ‘A Month in the country’, Natalya Bessmertnova and Irek Mukhamedov in ‘Spartucus’, Irina Kolpakova and Sergei Berezhnoi in ‘The Sleeping beauty’, and Cynthia Harvey and Mikhail Baryshnikov in ‘Don Quixote’.
