A documentary study of the Grenfell Mission, a voluntary medical group that has served Atlantic fishermen and the isolated communities of Newfoundland and Labrador since 1892. Focus of the film is the Mission’s headquarters hospital at St. Anthony and the modern system of airlifting up to 5000 patients a year to hospital.
