South-East Asia is rich in natural resources and food potential is good but an improvement in farming techniques is needed and high protein foods are scarce. Australia, with its highly mechanised dairy industry, can provide aid and personnel in setting up and maintaining jointly-owned factories is such countries as Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines and Japan.
