A number of simple scientific facts about baby animals are presented in such a way as to be suitable for children of kindergarten age, including: mother deer taking care of her young; pelicans from birth, skunk taking care of yer young; a baby racoon’s first trip to the river and an oppossum carrying its young up a tree.
