This episode contains so many astonishing advances, reverses, setbacks and recoveries that in fiction, many of them would be edited out. Starts with the infamous Philippines trip, John’s Jesus statement and the Beatles backlash, last concert, Candlestick Park, Backwards in time concert footage montage, time off after touring, John in How I Won The War, Paul and excerpts from The Family Way, interviews outside Abbey Road during Sgt. Pepper sessions, the making of Strawberry Fields Forever - the promo film and mellotron intro by Paul, making of Penny Lane, making the Sgt. Pepper album, Sgt. Pepper album cover animation from 1987 special, making of A Day In The Life with film from orchestra party, reaction to Sgt. Pepper, Jimi Hendrix covers Sgt. Pepper, Paul admits LSD use. Other songs included: Paul does Eleanor Rigby, cut to recorded version and back, For No One, Penny Lane promo film, A Day In The Life, Take 1, Strawberry Fields Forever Take 1.
