Shows the Natural History of New Zealand’s subantartic islands. New Zealand’s subantartic Islands of “The Snares”, Auckland Island, Campbell Island, Bounty Island, Macquarie Island and Antipodes Island house unique species of birds and marine mammals. These rarely visited islands are under the auspice of the Royal New Zealand Navy who are carefully observing and measuring the geological, geographical, isoseismal changes and are maintaining vital observations of wildlife and vegetation patterns. Narrated by Ray Henwood.
