11-year-old Jonathan Knicks (Huckleberry Fox) is posed with an intriguing question about time travel by aviator/inventor Max Knickerbocker (Peter Coyote). He’s asking the wrong person, as Max is already an experienced time travellers thanks to the efforts of the time machine built by his neighbour, Henry Coogan (Art Carney). Unbenowst to Jonathan, Max is also his grandson and the time machine has allowed them to meet. Max learns that his discovery of the past and the fate of his grandfather forces him to decide whether to alter the course of the future. Also starring Dennis Lipscomb, Joe Flood and Mittie Smith.
