This video is about how to safely handle and prepare food for public consumption. It is aimed at people who prepare food in the hospitality industry and other food handling professions, but contains useful tips to keep in mind when preparing food in the home. Discusses bacteria and how to lessen its effects, storage temperatures and conditions for food, both raw and cooked, freezing, thawing and cooking of food, delivery of food and how to lessen the likelihood of illness from improperly prepared food. Includes a questionnaire to test knowledge of content of video.
