John Romer focuses on the role of women in ancient Egypt and their rituals such as birthing practices as well as reading some Egyptian love poetry. Romer explains the mathematical perfection of the Great Temple of Karnak, and provides an insight into the workings of the village oracle, the supernatural and medical treatment.
