Alexander the Great had conquered all of the then known world by the time of his death at 32. At the Battle of Issus, he led a charge across a river to crush a massive Persian force. Alexander’s military genius allowed him to employ daring strategems and from his victory at Issus, he went on to become one of the greatest commanders of all time.
