Explains the source of alcohol in liquours produced by fermentation from wheat, grapes, corn and other plants. Diagrams show what happens to alcohol in the human body, how it deadens the judgement centres, affects the vision, slows up muscle responsivenss and may result in unconsciousness. The problem drunkard is diagnosed as a sick person requiring medical treatment. Alcohol is shown to be a social problem as well as a personal health issue.
