The manual which accompanies program of the same title contains a transcript of the dramatised episode which highlights problems with office communication and outlines some strategies to improve it. Each section of the text gives a brief introduction to the topic and presents a discussion exercise for consideration. Topics include: purposeful communication, the two-way process of communication, planning and establishing regular communication practices, the value of written communication, confidentiality, follow-up communication and using praise to motivate. The video tape may be borrowed as a separate loan item.
