Terry Laidler presents the first in a series of interactive seminars addressing adolescent mental health linking a Statewide panel via satellite to 25 rural centres. The panel comprises Hon. Denis Napthine, Minister, Youth & Community Services who outlines Victorian Government preventative regional initiatives, Dr. Micheal Schwarz, Psychiatrist, Centre for Adolescent Health, Parkville, Constance Jenkins, Family therapist and manager Parenting Adolescence Australia, Thersea Lynch, social worker, Sutherland Community Resource Centre who co-ordinates a violence prevention program in secondary schools and Liz Wightwick from the Mildura Suicide Prevention Working Party. The panel then fields questions from a studio audience and by telephone.
