The course book is divided into two levels, each of five units. Each unit contains conversations, key phrases, language patterns and a variety of exercises, including special vocabulary building sections. Each level is followed by grammar summaries, additional exercises and a “Cultura” section introducing some Italian paintings and poetry. The book accompanies the video and audio cassettes which may be borrowed as separate loan items.
