Episode number 13 of Series “The Worlds of childhood”.
The role of the family in the development of gender roles, moral emotions, prosocial behaviour and self concept are considered. Shows Children’s Day in Japan, boys and girls playing in a day care centre, and the way children’s behaviour outside the family, depends on how they have learned to act towards those in it.
