Episode of Series “Concepts in science: chemistry”.
Starting with a look at the structure of carbon, the atom common to all living matter, these six 10 minute programs investigate the properties of carbon and its fascinating uses - in fuels, plastics, industry and domestic cleaning products. Computer animation illustrates bonding and reactions at the molecular level and simplifies complex concepts for greater understanding. The episodes are: 1. “Carbon the compromiser” 2.
