Toys are big business. This discussion takes a hard look at aspects of the toy industry and the impact that popular toys have on children. Toy manufacturers promote dolls such as GI Joe and Barbie; children’s author, Marie Louise Gay, and Vietnam veteran Dave Cline question their influence, and whether the implicit values are what we really want for our children.
