The dazzling film version of Lerner and Loewe’s acclaimed musical. Audrey Hepburn stars as the cockney flowergirl Eliza Doolittle who is trained by Professor Higgins (Rex Harrison) to pass as a duchess. Featuring sumptuous cinematography and costumes by Cecil Beaton, this is one of the most popular musicals ever filmed. Winner of eight Academy Awards including Best Picture. The original musical is based on George Bernard Shaw’s “Pygmalion”.
