Easter is presented as a world wide festival to celebrate new life and the Christian belief in Christ’s rising from the dead. The program is in two parts: “The origins of Easter” and “Easter symbols” Many examples of festivals around the world are shown and some ideas for classroom activities suggested. Teacher’s notes accompany the video.
