Microphotography and precise animation are used to visualise chromosomal mechanics and DNA as determinants of human genetic information. Also shows how knowledge of heredity and chromosomal aberrations is being used in genetic counselling, and describes principles of population genetics and how these may lead to genetic similarities and differences.
