Episode of Series “Australian mosaic”.
A Prizewinner at the 31st International Film and TV Festival of New York this program looks at Australia’s attitude to Chinese Australians who wanted to join the Armed Forces to assist in the defence of Australia during the Second World War. In examining the stories of those interviewed a number of issues are brought to light. The video is accompanied by Teacher’s notes and workcards.
